Niacinamide

Also known as vitamin B3 or nicotinamide, niacinamide is one of the most studied and versatile skincare ingredients. What does niacinamide do? It helps restore the skin’s barrier, improve microcirculation, brighten the skin, regulate sebum production, and support acne and post-acne marks.

How to use it

You can use niacinamide for skin any time of day, in any season, during pregnancy, and at any age. Concentrations above 4% are generally more effective. However, higher concentrations can feel sticky, so it’s best to follow with a cream.

Suitable for

All skin types, especially skin with pigmentation, acne or post-acne marks, and visible capillaries.

Things to know

Niacinamide may cause irritation when used together with the acidic form of vitamin C (ascorbic acid). It works well with all other ingredients.
