Kaolin is one of the gentlest clay minerals used in skincare. Unlike harsher clays, kaolin on skin works delicately: it absorbs excess oil and dirt without drying out or damaging the skin.

It's usually recommended to use kaolin masks 1-3 times a week for oily skin and less often for dry skin. To help prevent dryness, rinse off a clay mask while it’s still slightly damp. If it’s left to fully dry and crack, it may start drawing moisture from the skin instead of only absorbing excess oil.
Primarily oily, combination, and normal skin types.
Pairs well with all ingredients, making it easy to include kaolin in skin care routines. However, it's not recommended for atopic skin.
